Afghanistan Relief Fund

Providing emergency funds for the most vulnerable Afghan citizens and organizations. The Afghan Relief Fund will be directed in the following ways:

• Rescue, resettlement, and transition efforts, including vital services
• Lotus Circle Funds to assist at-risk Afghan women and girls
• Immediate support for long-standing partner organizations working in Afghanistan

The Asia Foundation provides no goods or services in consideration for gifts. The Foundation retains five percent of donated funds for administration and fundraising costs. The Foundation is an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Foundation may be tax-deductible as provided in section 170 of the Code; consult with a tax advisor or the IRS. The Foundation’s Federal Identification Number is 94-1191246.
