Indonesia is gearing up for the first of two critical elections this year, and nearly 22 million of the 187 million registered voters, are 17 to 21 years old and will be casting ballots for the first time. The Asia Foundation is partnering with Google and Perludem to connect with these young voters and develop a first-ever, just-launched interactive candidate map, powered by API Pemilu, covering all of Indonesia’s 34 provinces. Stay tuned for analysis from our experts in Jakarta in next week’s blog.
