Managing Partner, Singularity Ventures
Alex Hartigan is the Managing Partner of Singularity Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Formerly, Alex was General Partner at Steamboat Ventures, a digital media venture capital fund affiliated with The Walt Disney Company. Living in China for seven years, Alex set up and ran Steamboat’s inaugural China venture capital fund. While at Steamboat, Alex also helped setup the Steamboat Ventures Social Enterprise Fund, a philanthropic program focused on microfinance institutions in Asia, which partnered with Give2Asia, a program originally launched by The Asia Foundation. Alex has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Government from Georgetown University.
