Carol Lyden was raised in a family with generations of Asian business and cultural interests dating back to the early 1800’s. She has traveled extensively through Asia and has had a long-standing interest in its economy, culture and art. She has been involved with the Asia Society, Japan Society and the Metropolitan Museum’s Asian Art Council. Carol has been involved with the Hospital for Special Surgery and New York Hospital for 30 years. She worked as a counselor and administrator at one of Cornell University Medical College outpatient clinics for the Dept. of Public Health at New York Hospital.
